The winners

FSCIRE, the Emilia-Romagna Region, and the European Academy of Religion are glad to announce the winners of the Giuseppe Alberigo Award 2024.

The Senior Award goes to WOLFRAM KINZIG for the work A History of Early Christian Creeds, De Gruyter, forthcoming (2024).
The Junior Award goes to GIOVANNI TORTORIELLO for the work Scala Christus est. Reassessing the Historical Context of Martin Luther’s Theology of the Cross, Mohr Siebeck, Tübingen 2023.

The awarding ceremony will take place on Wednesday, May 22, during the Gala Dinner of the EuARe Annual Conference 2024.

We also praise the four finalists that have been granted a special mention of excellence for their works: Uta Heil, Carlos Álvarez, Miriam Benfatto, and Ryszard Bobrowicz.
